Llama

Llamas are a camelid from North America. Their history goes back 40 million years, and since migrating three million years ago are found in South America. Andean tribes began domesticating llamas about five thousand years ago, and they are one of the most established domesticated animals around today. Llamas are incredibly strong and can carry twenty-five to thirty percent of their body weight up to eight miles.
