Intelligent

“Intelligence” refers to an ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly. This trait is often inherited and comes from an individual’s genetic makeup. Intelligence is not the same as smarts or cleverness. It simply refers to an ability to acquire information effectively. It doesn’t mean applying knowledge to pragmatic situations. That is why many professors and scientists who have high intelligence levels are typically known as being absent-minded.
