Dreads

Dreads, also known as dreadlocks, are a distinctive hairstyle that involve twisting, braiding, and interlocking hair strands to create rope-like locks. The process of creating dreads can vary depending on the individual’s hair type and desired style, but generally involves separating the hair into sections and backcombing or palm rolling to encourage the strands to lock together. Dreads can be maintained through regular washing, drying, and twisting, and are often adorned with beads or other decorative accessories. While traditionally associated with Rastafarian culture, dreads have become more mainstream in recent years and can be worn by people of all ages and backgrounds.
