EDT

If we look at EDT meaning: it means Eastern Daylight Time. It is the time zone which is used in the summer to spring season. Eastern daylight time is not applied in the Southern areas of the world. It is applicable in Canada, the USA, Central America and the Caribbean. This time is four hours behind coordinated universal time and one hour ahead of Eastern Standard time. And when it comes into effect, the international conference takes place between 9 am to 5 pm. This time zone is basically for the people living in the eastern zone of the world. EDT is a time zone used for better time management and for international conferences and meetings. But confusing EDT with EST can cause many troubles, as it can change the time for important tasks, and it can accidentally make you a conference call at the wrong time.
